Time wasting book!

Well I'm doing the time wasting. Made a sketch/note book. Full post over on Paper Tapir with specs and images.

Also I need this in my life. Its an eyelet setter that doesn't require a hammer. It's spring loaded. Genius! It's $28 over on Paper Source, I'll be in the area tomorrow and will try and persuade myself that I have a reason to not get it :<.

Educating Tapirs

I don't even know where this came from. I guess I feel people should be educated about tapirs. Also, maybe I'm biased, but I think these guys are very sweet. They have a Malayan Tapir at the Minnesota Zoo, she's been there a long time and is sort of smelly and lumpy, but I like her.
She's part of the Species Survival Plan. Oh they also say this about the babies:

"For the first 6-8 months of their life, newborn tapirs resemble 20 lb. watermelons with legs. They are dark brown to black with alternating bands of yellowish-white stripes and spots."

That's adorable.
Anyways educate yourself. Maybe I'll do more long format info bits on weird animals I like. For no reason.

Nineteen plus One

Progress for Nineteen Plus One. Erm, sort of. It's some extra stuff.

CVG 2011

The sort-of-frequent update about CONvergence 2011. This year Cam and I are not going to be having a room, but hopefully are going to be doing a traveling tea cart instead. Uhhh sort of like this:Obviously less extensive, but something along these lines. This is actually just a little desk sculpture that Cam found. I think it's a good example though, there are more, but I don't want to get too carried away. More updates for Senior Project soon.

SP-Character sketches

Sadly I just dump posts in a row now.
Grabbing some unedited shots of my favorite character sketches for senior project. They're different ages here, also I was doing age-ranges in this set, so things end up looking sort of bleh in terms of interest. Alas.
Jillian Park, the sort-of-main character.
Victoria Kahlow, the used-to-be-in-town-but-not-so-much-anymore friend.
Nicholas White, the sort-bro-mostly-love interest.

Also this. Jack the-old-and-rather-displeased horse.
(Yes "nay" was intentional. :|)

Fight your Rival!

Doing some character interaction doodles for senior project. Jillian Park and Nicholas White.

Hideout

Holidays make me a hermit. Scarecrow does not approve. Ian's been playing through Arkham Asylum again so I doodled Batman and Scarecrow, as well as super derpy Batman comics, but those are uhhh not posted.
