Not really a sketch

Made my first piece of chainmaille today! I tried several years ago, but my patience was iffy and I it's difficult for me to break down things into steps. Also I should maybe stop looking at finished things to see how to make stuff. Oh well, it works for books!

MIX 2010 Comics

Found my chipboard comics from the Minneapolis Indie Xpo, back in August. It's a lot of me being really hot, and being at a woogly table that moved every time someone stepped near it. It was still a lot of fun though, and I'm going back this year!

Prints!

Shark intaglio test print, hard ground and dry point for class.
Aquatint test, sort of a weird soft tree landscape type thing. It looks super foreboding if flipped around. >_<

Skeleton hand screenprint. Done in like an hour and a half including exposure time. Which was probably bad, oh well. Edition of 10. There's also a black edition, which I still need to document.

Printing

Working on a new screen print. *shuffa* I want to make a few variations for MIX and MiniCon, probably a three layer...kinda sorta...?

Stuck

One of the six images with Jillian and Nicholas together. They're outfits are oddly coherent and match-y. They're traveling in Europe or something, maybe that explains it. I've got about 23 more individual people to draw and then what like...72 extra things and backgrounds. It's actually going pretty smoothly. I'm a little shocked, maybe a day or two behind but that's it, if even. I should be able to start tones next week, which puts me ahead of schedule. (Because there's like 80% less scanning time involved.)

Also decided to register for Anime Detour this year, might or might not end up going for all of it, might sell a few things if I get around to it, otherwise. I'm just going to go and work/relax.

Senior Project

Working on pencils for senior project. Made a mock up of the books over on Paper Tapir.
